This week historic congressional hearings were held on a bill to study reparations for African Americans. But people like GOP’s Mitch McConnell declared reparations were not needed because America had elected a black president. (I’m serious!) People- especially white folks – need to have an open mind about reparations. I break down the reparations proposal that was discussed in Congress this week and why it’s vitally needed.
